Asia Market Report 2/7/2007 Bridgestone Down, NTT Up

Markets in Asia were mixed with the Nikkei down.

The Nikkei was off .7% to 17,292. Bridgestone was down 2.8% to 2445. Canon was down 1.8% to 6120. Fuji Film was up 2.5% to 6000. Hitachi was down .3% to 805. Honda was up .2% to 4630. NEC was down 1.8% to 586. NTT was up 3.8% to 652000. Docomo was up 4% to 206000. Sharp was down 1.4% to 2120. Softbank was flat at 2850. Sony was flat at 5840. Toshiba was down .8% to 730. Toyota was up .4% to 7990. Yahoo Japan was up .8% to 43200.

The Hang Seng was up .1% to 20,680. Cathay Pacific was up 4.3% to 21.65. China Mobile was down .4% to 75.45. China Netcom was down .3% to 19.76. China Unicom was up 1.6% to 10.14. HSBC was down .1% to 143.5. PCCW was up .2% to 4.71.

The KOSPI was down .2% to 1,426.

The Straits Times was up .4% to 3,237.

The Shanghai Composite was up 1.5% to 2,716.
