Markets in Europe were off slightly at 6 AM New York time.

The FTSE dropped .2% to 6,353. Barclays was up .6% to 731. BP was up .8% to 552.5. GlaxoSmithKline was down .2% to 1405. Prudential was down .9% to 737.5. Reuters was up .9% to 487. Unilever was up .1% to 1533. Vodafone was down .8% to 1533.

The DAXX was down .1% to 7,070. Bayer was up .3% to 48.7. Damiler was down 1.3% to 60.29. DeutscheBank was down .8% to 101.82. Deutsche Telekom was down .9% to 12.88. SAP was up .4% to 34.81. Siemens was up 1% to 82.68.

The CAC 40 was down .3% to 5,723. Alcatel-Lucent was down 1% to 9.21. AXA was flat at 32.44. France Telcom was down .6% to 20.34. ST Micro was down .6% to 14.77. Vivendi was up 1% to 31.32.
