Active traders have many stocks to choose from this Wednesday.  We are tracking news and moves in shares of Allied Irish Banks plc (NYSE: AIB), Bank of Ireland (NYSE: IRE), American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG), Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR), Hypercom Corp. (NYSE: HYC), Limelight Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: LLNW), Mattel, Inc.(NYSE: MAT), Nokia Corporation (NYSE: NOK), and Santarus, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNTS).

Allied Irish Banks plc (NYSE: AIB) and Bank of Ireland (NYSE: IRE) are having opposite moves on Irish bailout cost projections.  Allied Irish is down 25% at $1.23 on more than 1.4 million shares while Bank of Ireland (NYSE: IRE) is up 5% at $3.36 on over 150,000 shares.

American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG) is acting today as we would have expected yesterday on the plan for the government to exit ownership.  Shares are up almost 4% at $38.90 versus a 52-week range of $21.54 to $47.49.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR) is slightly lower on a day-two reaction after disclosing charges based on revenue recognition and on an SEC inquiry.  Shares are down 0.6% at $30.88 and yesterday’s high-low range was $$30.55 to $32.18.

Hypercom Corp. (NYSE: HYC) has already rejected a bid from VeriFone Systems Inc. (NYSE: PAY) for $290 million with the response that the offer undervalues the company and its prospects.  Hypercom shares are up over 42% at $6.04.

Limelight Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: LLNW) is trading up 12% at $6.20 on over 75,000 shares after Jim Cramer interviewed the CEO on CNBC’s Mad Money.

Mattel, Inc.(NYSE: MAT) is trading lower by 5.7% at $22.20 after Fisher-Price toy recalls.  Its 52-week trading range is $17.72 to $24.60.

Nokia Corporation (NYSE: NOK) is trading higher after starting shipments of its N8 entertainment smartphone.  Shares are up 2.8% at $10.10 versus a 52-week range of $8.00 to $15.89.  Throughout September, the highest prints seen were $10.19 and $10.20 and $10.29 and the highest close was $10.27.

Santarus, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNTS) is up 15% at $3.22 on more than 50,000 shares after its colitis drug met trial goals in a study.
