JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ: JBLU) and Hawaiian Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HA) via Hawaiian Airlines have formed a partnership which will now allow passengers to fly on both carriers on a single ticket.  This is on the heels of plans for the two to launch New York City service on a non-stop direct flight to and from Honolulu, Hawaii starting in June. The move will allow customers on either airline to connect with those flights through JetBlue’s base at New York’s JFK.  This may be the only New York to Honolulu direct flight.  Hawaiian Holdings owns Hawaiian Airlines and shares are up 3.3% at $6.24 against a 52-week range of $3.67 to $7.83.  JetBlue shares are down 0.3% at $5.43 versus its own 52-week trading range of $3.40 to $6.53.
