The 52-Week Low Club for Monday

June 22, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 40 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Alcoa Inc. (NYSE: AA) dropped about 2% on Monday to post a new 52-week low at $11.69 after closing at $11.93on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $17.75. Share volume totaled more than 16 million, about 75% of the daily average of around 21.6 million shares traded. Analysts at Sterne Agee CRT downgraded the stock from Buy to Neutral with a price target of $12.

Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE: GG) dropped nearly 1.8% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $16.18 against a 52-week high of $29.65. The stock closed at $16.47 on Friday night. Volume totaled around 5.9 million shares, about 15% below the daily average of around 7.3 million shares. Sagging gold prices hit several gold miners hard today.

Etsy Inc. (NASDAQ: ETSY) dropped about 3.7% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $13.78 after closing at $14.31 on Friday. The stock’s post-IPO high is $35.74. Share volume totaled about 1.2 million shares, about 40% below the daily average of around 2 million. The company was hit with another shareholder lawsuit today related to the alleged sale of counterfeit goods.

Atlas Resource Partners LP (NYSE: ARP) posted a new 52-week low on Monday. Shares dropped about 7.3% to a low of $6.56 from Friday’s closing price of $7.08. The stock’s 52-week high is $20.94. Volume totaled more than 1.2 million shares, nearly double the stock’s the daily average of around 800,000. The company had no specific news today.
