July 13, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 80 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S) posted a second consecutive 52-week low on Monday. Shares dropped about 2.6% to a low of $3.68 from Friday’s closing price of $3.78. The stock’s 52-week high is $8.62. Volume totaled more than 18 million shares, about 30% higher than the stock’s daily average of around 14.8 million. The company had no specific news today.

Encana Corp. (NYSE: ECA) dropped about 3% on Monday to post a new 52-week low at $9.36 after closing at $9.65 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $23.41. Share volume totaled around 10 million, about 25% above the daily average of around 7.5 million shares traded. No secret here: soft crude oil prices mean that oil producers’ stock prices will get trimmed.

Yamana Gold Inc. (NYSE: AUY) dropped about 6.3% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $2.54 against a 52-week high of $9.04. The stock closed at $2.71 on Friday night. Volume totaled nearly 10 million shares, about 25% above the daily average of around 7.5 million. Gold prices have remained stubbornly low and gold miners’ stocks are simply getting hammered again.

Denbury Resources Inc. (NYSE: DNR) dropped about 2.6% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $5.16 after closing at $5.30 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $18.07. Share volume totaled more than 8 million shares, about 20% below the daily average of around 10 million. More carnage at companies that are regarded as the weakest among the oil producers..
