Nordstrom Adds Cyber Monday Deals on Select Luxury Items

Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE: JWN) has been paying careful attention to its online business, particularly its off-price Nordstrom Rack and HauteLook businesses, and that has started paying off for the upscale retailer. Sales at the flagship online store rose 11% in the most recent quarter and total sales, including online, rose 39%, at the off-price businesses.

For Cyber Monday, the Nordstrom.com website is offering double loyalty points for some rewards card holders and 10 points per dollar to others. The company also offers free shipping and free returns on all online purchases. Selected items carry an additional 25% discount.

Here are some of the items that carry special pricing on Cyber Monday:

  • A Fossil “Grant” round chronograph with a leather band for $60.73, a savings of 55%.
  • A Michael Kors quilted, feather-filled vest for $99.90, a savings of 33%.
  • A Dooney & Bourke crossbody bag for $58, a savings of 55%.
  • A Tory Burch “York” colorblock buckle tote sells for about $148, a savings of 49%.
  • A Michael Kors peacoat for about $75, a savings of 74%, not including the added discount.

At NordstromRack.com the same loyalty points offer is available as is an extra 30% discount on clearance items. Some examples:

  • Bearpaw sheepskin lined short boots for about $28, a savings of 63%.
  • A men’s long-sleeve classic fit shirt for about $60, a savings of 75%.
  • A women’s Raymond Weil parsifal diamond watch for $750, a savings of 56%.

And women’s shoes. Lots of women’s shoes. According to the website’s own count, 5,867 pairs of women’s shoes.
