Electronics are frequently the most sought-out items for the holiday season, and Best Buy, the leading consumer electronics retailer in the United States in 2016, stands to gain or lose from the popularity of the year’s hottest tech gifts.
Best Buy has offered a number of doorbuster deals as it seeks to compete with Amazon. The deals are on in-demand tech products, and are expected to continue through at least December 25. Best Buy has relatively current and in-demand tech gifts on sale for 20%, 30%, and in some cases more than 40% off.
Products by the biggest names in tech — including Samsung, Microsoft, Google, Sony, and Apple — are on sale in stores and at Best Buy’s website. Based on a projected item’s popularity as s holiday gift and its discount at Best Buy, 24/7 Wall St. listed here the 20 best tech deals at Best Buy.
Customers with different needs and tastes can find deals on tech gifts at Best Buy. They range in price from high-end items like laptops and televisions, to mid-range electronics like smart home devices and speakers, to much less expensive items that can be bought for less than $50 like streaming devices and e-readers. The most expensive item on this list, the Microsoft Surface, has a final price tag of $799, while the cheapest, the Amazon Echo Dot and Google Home Mini, each cost $29.
24/7 Wall St. reviewed a number of third-party sources as well as Amazon.com’s section of items commonly bought as gifts to identify hundreds of tech gifts projected to be popular this holiday season. Using Google’s Keyword Planner, we identified the search terms that Google projects will be most popular from December 11 through December 25. We then identified the largest discounts for each item offered at Best Buy. All deals listed are from data collected as of 12/15/2017.
