The list of people who celebrate birthdays today is unusually diverse. One is a candidate for Vice President. Another is an aging member of the World Wrestling Federation. Yet another is among the most famous rappers in the world.

Two of the people on the list are 61. One is only 18. Most were born in the U.S., but one is from Israel and another from China.

The list actually has two wrappers, four movie stars, and talent from the TV and music worlds.

Born in: Oakland, CA
Occupation: Politician

The senator from California is the Joe Biden running mate. Former DA of San Francisco. The Black daughter of immigrants from India and Jamaica is the first woman of color to accept the nomination for vice president from a major political party.

Snoop Dogg
Age: 48
Born in: Long Beach, CA
Occupation: Rapper

He has sold 35 million records worldwide. Snoop Dogg has released 17 albums since “Doggystyle” in 1998. His real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.

John Krasinski
Age: 40
Born in: Newton, MA
Occupation: Actor

He is most famous as Jim Halpert in the TV series The Office. He also starred in the first and directed both films A Quiet Place.

Viggo Mortensen
Age: 61
Born in: New York City, NY
Occupation: Actor

He is perhaps best known for playing Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings movies. But Mortensen has been nominated for three Oscars in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role category: “Green Mile,” Captain Fantastic,” and “Eastern Promises.”

Age: 18
Born in: Maryland
Occupation: Actor

Blackk is best known as Malik on the show This Is Us and for his role as Kevin Richardson in the miniseries When They See Us. His real name is Asante Duah Ma’at.

Scott Hall
Age: 61
Born in: St. Mary’s County, Maryland
Occupation: Professional wrestler

He is best known for his work with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as Razor Ramon. He is in the WWE Hall of Fame.
