7 Key Tech and Media Earnings Coming This Week

The question on investors’ minds is whether these earnings can continue to push this rally even higher. This earnings season also is also all about guidance: Where do these tech stocks go from here?

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the larger tech and media companies that are reporting their quarterly results this week. We have reviewed the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, the stock price and trading history.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change earnings dates as well.

Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) is scheduled to report its fiscal second-quarter earnings on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $0.43 and $1.09 billion in revenue. EA shares closed at $79.45 on Friday. The consensus analyst price target is $90.53. The 52-week trading range is $53.01 to $86.07.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (NYSE: BABA) is set to post its fiscal second-quarter results Wednesday, and the consensus estimates are EPS of $0.69 and $5.04 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $101.93 as the week came to a close, in a 52-week range of $59.25 to $109.87. The consensus price target is $115.66.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) is expected to report on Wednesday as well. It has consensus estimates of EPS at $0.97 on $6.92 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $131.29 at the end of Friday’s session. The consensus price target is $156.84, and the stock has a 52-week range of $89.37 to $133.50.

Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) will post its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Wednesday. Consensus estimates call for $1.13 in EPS and revenues of $5.84 billion. Shares ended the week at $68.40, in a 52-week range of $42.24 to $71.62. The consensus price target is only $66.28.

3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) is expected to report its third-quarter results on Thursday. It has consensus estimates of EPS at $0.09 and $160.16 million in revenue. Shares were trading at $13.76 at the end of Friday’s session. The consensus price target is $14.88, and the stock has a 52-week range of $6.00 to $19.76.

Activision Blizzard Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI) will also post its most recently quarterly results on Thursday. Consensus estimates call for $0.42 in EPS and revenues of $1.57 billion. Shares ended the week at $43.32, in a 52-week trading range of $26.49 to $45.55. The consensus price target is only $48.04.

Twilio Inc. (NYSE: TWLO) is set to post its third-quarter results Thursday, and the consensus estimates are calling for a net loss of $0.08 per share and $66.24 million in revenue. Shares were trading at $35.42 as the week came to a close, in a 52-week range of $23.66 to $70.96. The consensus price target is $39.67.
