Europe market were falling at 5.40 AM New York time.

The FTSE was down .8% to 6,268. Barclays was down .6% to 756.5. BP was down 1.2% to 562.5. BT was up 1.2% to 314.5 Cable & Wireless was up 3.1% to 166.5. GlaxoSmithKline was up .6% to 1396.Prudential was down 1% to 717. Reuters was down .2% to 444.25. Unilever was down .9% to 1429. Vodafone was up .5% to 146.

The DAXX was off .7% to 6,643. Bayer was down .6% to 41.21. BMW was off 1.7% to 43.3 Deutsche Bank was down .7% to 102.65. Daimler was down 1% to 47.04. Deutsche Telekom was up 2% to 14.35. Siemens was down .4% to 75.19.

The CAC 40 was off .9% to 5,562. Alcatel was down 1.5% to 11.47. AXA was down 1.1% to 31.43. France Telecom was up .3% to 21.45. ST Micro was down 1.1% to 13.99. Vivendi was up .4% to 30.24.
