Markets in Europe were off slightly at 6.14 AM New York time.

The FTSE is down .2% to 6,256. Barclays is down .7% to 749.5. BP is down .4% to 540.5  307.5 BT is down .2% to 307.5. GlaxoSmithKline is down .5% to 1386. Prudential is down .8% to 706.5. Reuters is up .6% to 445.75. Unilever is down .4% to 1385. Vodafone is up .2% to 150.25.

The DAXX is down .3% to 6,701. Bayer is down .8% to 42.84. Daimler is down .6% to 48.33. DeutscheBank is down .8% to 105.97. Deutsche Telekom is down .9% to 14.19. SAP is down .2% to 35.89. Siemens is down .8% to 81.96.

The CAC 40 is down .5% to 5,583. Alcatel-Lucent is down 1.4% to 9.95. AXA is off 1.1% to 32. France Telecom is down .9% to 21.36. ST Micro is up .6% to 14.46. Vivendi is down .7% to 31.52.
