Markets in Europe were slightly lower at 6.15 AM New York time.

The FTSE is down .1% to 6,185. Barclays is up 3.6% to 701.85. BP is down 1% to 510.5. BT is down .5% to 302.25. GSK is down .8% to 1400. Prudential is up 4.2% to 738. Reuters is down .5% to 435.5. Unilever is down .8% to 1495. Vodafone is down .8% to 140.9.

The DAXX is down .3% to 6,654. Bayer is flat at 44.62. Daimler is up .1% to 56.41. DeutscheBank is flat at 95.66. Deutsche Telekom is down .6% to 12.47. SAP is down .2% to 33.92. Siemens is down .4% to 79.3.

The CAC 40 is down .4% to 5,436. Alcatel-Lucent is down 1.9% to 8.78. AXA is down .7% to 30.52. France Telecom is down .4% to 19.49. ST Micro is down .6% to 14.18. Vivendi is up 1.4% to 29.67.
