What to Expect From Dow Stocks Reporting This Week

Five of the Dow stocks are reporting next week, and this has the potential to sustain the run that the index has made since the Trump rally began and push it even further beyond 20,000.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, as well as the stock price and trading history.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) will share its most recent quarterly results on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $3.22 and $77.42 billion in revenue. Shares traded at $121.95 at the close on Friday, in a 52-week range of $89.47 to $122.44. The stock has a consensus analyst price target of $133.40. On Tuesday, Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM) is scheduled to reveal its fourth-quarter results. The consensus estimates are $0.71 in EPS and $62.28 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $85.51 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $88.83. The stock has a 52-week range of $73.55 to $95.55.

Fourth-quarter results from Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) also are due on Tuesday. Analysts overall anticipate EPS of $0.50, as well as $13.63 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $31.42 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $37.52, and the 52-week range is $28.25 to $37.39.

On Thursday, Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE: MRK) is expected to report its fourth-quarter results. The consensus analyst EPS estimate is $0.89, and the revenue estimate was $10.19 billion. Shares closed at $61.75 on Friday, in a 52-week trading range of $47.97 to $65.46. The consensus price target is $68.00

Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) is scheduled to reveal its most recent quarterly results on Thursday as well. The consensus estimates call for $0.78 in EPS and $4.29 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $83.77 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $95.16. The stock has a 52-week range of $66.12 to $84.27.
