7 Key Retailers Reporting Earnings This Week

We are at the close of the regular earnings season but now just approaching the time when most big retailers will report. We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as added some additional color on each.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Macy’s Inc. (NYSE: M) will share its most recent quarterly results on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $1.96 and $8.63 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $32.30 at the close on Friday, in a 52-week trading range of $28.55 to $45.50. The stock has a consensus analyst price target of $35.19.

Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) is scheduled to reveal its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $1.33 in EPS, as well as $21.78 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $143.00. The consensus price target is $149.04. The stock has a 52-week trading range of $118.75 to $143.12.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) also is expected to report its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Tuesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $1.29 and $131.27 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $69.37 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $73.97, and the stock has a 52-week trading range of $62.72 to $75.19.

L Brands Inc. (NYSE: LB) is set to report its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for EPS of $1.90 and $4.51 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $57.51 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $67.72, and the stock has a 52-week trading range of $56.01 to $88.77.

Gap Inc. (NYSE: GPS) will share its most recent quarterly results on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for EPS of $0.51 and $4.39 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $24.47 at the close on Friday, in a 52-week range of $17.00 to $30.74. The stock has a consensus analyst target of $25.52.

Kohl’s Corp. (NYSE: KSS) is scheduled to reveal its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $1.33 in EPS, as well as $6.22 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $41.97. The consensus price target is $46.10. The stock has a 52-week trading range of $33.87 to $59.67.

J.C. Penney Co. Inc. (NYSE: JCP) is expected to report its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Friday. The consensus analyst estimates call for EPS of $0.61 on revenue of $3.98 billion. Shares closed at $7.03 on Friday. The consensus price target is $10.00. The 52-week trading range is $6.35 to $11.99.
