What to Expect From the Dow Stocks Reporting This Week

Overall, 30% of the Dow is reporting next week, and this has the potential to sustain the run that the Dow has made since the Trump rally began.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history. All check out our review of other top stocks reporting results this week.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

McDonald’s Corp. (NYSE: MCD) will share its most recent quarterly results on Monday. The consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $1.41 and $5.99 billion in revenue. Shares traded at $122.26 at the close on Friday, in a 52-week trading range of $110.33 to $131.96. The stock has a consensus analyst price target of $128.52.

On Tuesday, E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Co. (NYSE: DD) is scheduled to reveal its fourth-quarter results. The consensus estimates call for $0.42 in EPS, as well as $5.29 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $73.03 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $78.07. The stock has a 52-week range of $50.71 to $75.86.

Fourth-quarter results from Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) also are due on Tuesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $1.56 and $18.26 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $114.15 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $125.05, and the 52-week range is $95.95 to $126.07.

Travelers Companies Inc. (NYSE: TRV) is expected to report its fourth-quarter results on Tuesday. The consensus analyst estimates are $2.78 in EPS and revenue of $6.02 billion. Shares closed at $118.02 on Friday. The consensus price target is $121.25. The 52-week trading range is $101.55 to $123.09.

Look for Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) to share its latest quarterly earnings on Tuesday as well. The consensus estimates are $0.90 in EPS and $32.11 billion in revenue. Shares traded at $52.72 as Friday’s session ended, in a 52-week range of $46.00 to $56.95. The consensus price target is $53.27.

On Wednesday, Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) is expected to report its fourth-quarter results. The consensus analyst estimates are $2.35 in EPS and revenue of $23.19 billion. Shares closed at $159.53 on Friday. The consensus price target is $161.70. The 52-week trading range is $102.10 to $160.30.

Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) is scheduled to reveal its most recent quarterly results on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $0.66 in EPS and $9.84 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $94.58 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $90.07. The stock has a 52-week range of $57.46 to $97.40.

Fourth-quarter results from Intel Corp. (NASDAQ: INTC) also are due on Thursday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $0.74 and $15.75 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $36.94 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $40.09, and the 52-week range is $27.68 to $38.36.

At the end of the week, Chevron Corp. (NYSE: CVX) is set to reveal its fourth-quarter results. The consensus estimates call for $o.66 in EPS, as well as $33.76 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $115.60 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $124.46. The stock has a 52-week range of $79.85 to $119.00.
