Apple, Boeing, Microsoft and More Dow Earnings Coming This Week

Earnings reporting season for the fourth quarter is underway, and 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of the Dow Jones Industrial Average companies scheduled to report their quarterly results this week. About one-third of the index’s components are reporting this coming week. The Dow has been churning out new highs and is well on its way to 27,000. If earnings keep up like this, who knows where the Dow can run from here.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, as well as the stock price and trading history.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) is set to report its most recent quarterly results on Tuesday. Analysts are looking for $0.56 in earnings per share (EPS) and $13.68 billion in revenue. Shares closed out the week at $39.01, with a consensus price target of $38.57 and a 52-week trading range of $30.93 to $39.09.

McDonald’s Corp. (NYSE: MCD) is expected to report its fourth-quarter results on Tuesday as well. The analysts’ consensus forecast is EPS of $1.59 on $5.23 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $178.36 as last week came to a close. The consensus price target is $186.57, and the stock has a 52-week range of $121.48 to $178.40.

Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $2.66 in EPS and $23.91 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $343.22, in a 52-week range of $160.82 to $352.23. The consensus analyst target is $346.50.

Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) is scheduled to share its quarterly report on Wednesday. The consensus estimates are $0.86 in EPS on $28.39 billion in revenue. Shares were at a 52-week high of $94.06 on Friday’s close. The 52-week low is $62.75, and the consensus price target is $97.33.

On Thursday, Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results. The consensus analyst estimates are $0.99 in EPS and revenue of $4.84 billion. Shares of Visa were at $126.32 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $129.80, and the 52-week range is $81.57 to $126.38.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) fiscal first-quarter results are due on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for EPS of $3.81 and $86.75 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $171.51 apiece. The consensus price target is $189.48, and the stock has a 52-week range of $120.62 to $180.10.

On Friday, Chevron Corp. (NYSE: CVX) is scheduled to reveal its fourth-quarter results. The consensus estimates are $1.23 in EPS and $38.3 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $131.19 as the week came to a close. The consensus price target is $135.23. The 52-week trading range is $102.55 to $133.88.

Look for Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM) to report its most recent quarterly results on Friday too. Analysts are looking for EPS of $1.04 and $75.01 billion in revenue. Shares of Exxon were changing hands at $89.00 on Friday’s close, a 52-week high. The consensus price target is $88.95, and the 52-week low is $76.05.

And Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE: MRK) is set to report its fourth-quarter results on Friday. The consensus estimates are EPS of $0.94 and $10.5 billion in revenue. The share price was last seen at $62.04. The consensus price target is $66.86, and the 52-week range is $53.63 to $66.80.
