Netflix, Ford and More Big Earnings to Watch For This Week

Over the course of this past week, all three major averages reached new milestones and all-time highs, setting the stage for what could be an explosive earnings season. 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the top companies reporting their latest results in the coming week.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, as well as the stock price and trading history for these companies ahead of the report.

Keep in mind that estimates or dates may change ahead of the report.

Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) is scheduled to reveal its fourth-quarter results on Monday. The consensus estimates are $0.41 in earnings per share (EPS) and $3.28 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $220.46 as the week came to a close. The consensus price target is $219.93, and the 52-week trading range is $137.03 to $226.07.

Haliburton Co. (NYSE: HAL) is expected to reveal its fourth-quarter results on Monday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.46 in EPS, as well as $5.63 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $53.01 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $55.09. The stock has a 52-week range of $38.18 to $58.78.

Texas Instruments Inc. (NASDAQ: TXN) is set to report its fourth-quarter results on Tuesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates are EPS of $1.09 and $3.74 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $116.83 as last week came to a close. The consensus price target is $105.41, and the stock has a 52-week range of $74.16 to $119.98.

United Continental Holdings Inc.’s (NYSE: UAL) most recent results also are due on Tuesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $1.31 and $9.42 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $76.50 apiece. The consensus price target is $77.69, and the stock has a 52-week range of $56.51 to $83.04.

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) is expected to report its fourth-quarter results on Wednesday. The consensus analyst estimates are $0.45 in EPS and revenue of $37.03 billion. Shares of Ford were at $12.00 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $12.85, and the 52-week range is $10.47 to $13.48.

American Airlines Group Inc. (NASDAQ: AAL) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $0.90 in EPS and $10.56 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $58.06, in a 52-week range of $39.21 to $59.08. The consensus analyst target is $63.44.

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) is expected to share its latest quarterly earnings on Thursday. The consensus estimates are $0.77 in EPS on $5.25 billion in revenue. Shares were at $65.05 on Friday’s close, in a 52-week range of $48.71 to $66.99. The consensus price target is $74.42.

Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ: SBUX) also is set to report its most recent quarterly results on Thursday. Analysts are looking for $0.57 in EPS and $6.2 billion in revenue. Shares closed out the week at $61.26, with a consensus price target of $63.46 and a 52-week trading range of $52.58 to $64.87.

On Friday, AbbVie Inc. (NYSE: ABBV) is scheduled to reveal its fourth-quarter results. The consensus estimates are $1.44 in EPS and $7.53 billion in revenue. Shares traded at $104.64 as the week came to a close. The consensus price target is $102.50. The 52-week range is $59.27 to $104.87.

And Honeywell International PLC (NYSE: HON) will report its fourth-quarter results on Friday. The analysts’ consensus estimates are EPS of $1.84 and $10.75 billion in revenue. The stock was last seen at $158.69 a share. The consensus price target is $166.81, and the 52-week range is $116.98 to $159.85.
